From 101 take Sir Francis Drake Blvd west past San Anselmo and Fairfax through San Geronimo Valley (approx.. 15 miles/30 mins) and turn left into Samuel P. Taylor/Camp Taylor.
Quiet Lightning will be in the Redwood Group Picnic Day-Use Area.
Bring beach chairs and blankets for sitting on.
Day-Use parking is $8 per car. Additional free parking is available along Sir Francis Drake Blvd. past main park entrance along the highway past Devil’s Gulch.
Dogs in the park
Dogs must be on leash at all times and are allowed only in the following areas:
- Day Use Picnic Areas
- Campsites (excluding the Cabin area)
- On the Cross Marin Trail Bike Path
