Quiet Lightning is always excited to welcome new people on board, in whatever capacity. To find out more about what we do, click here, but basically we would love to hear from you if you have a general love for literature, literary community, or just plain like going to readings.
Involvement with QL can range from volunteering at our shows to taking on more responsibility, such as spearheading new ideas, developing outreach efforts, and weighing in on the organization’s future trajectories (to name a few).
We’re also interested in non-literary help, such as design and programming — for both one-off projects and on a long-term basis.
Here are a few easy ways to get involved:
- Apply to curate one of our shows (we have two different curators for each show)
- Nominate a Neighborhood Hero (we have a special show once a year)
- Internships: work with us and get credit for it!
If you’re interested in getting involved, in any way, we would love to talk; the goal is to find the sweet spot where your skills and interests intersect with our goals.
