describing the sun from your bunker

In conclusion, we encourage you to paint broad strokes into the concealed side of your innermost doorjamb, secret messages to people you will not otherwise care to think about (#ideas). Because the wind does: watch this.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Elbo Room, to all of our readers and our special guest Miles Karp for the bass bookends, and to Gabrielle Wilson-Sealy for the stunning imagery. We’re really proud of this show and hope you continue to enjoy it; sparkle for free here and blink for your bookshelf here.

We will now announce our next show: Monday, April 2nd. We’re not ready to announce the location, though. Submissions will be accepted through midnight of this Wednesday, March 14th [click here].

Catch up on the last show—read it, watch it, read about it—here. The artist for last month’s sparkle + blink was Pierre Merkl aka Mr. Lucky, who will be reading at the ‘bo on March 5! Here’s the lineup:
With special guest Miles Karp of The Suex Effect!
